“When we signed our daughter up for the two-day horse education program at Van Delden Equestrian, we were hoping she would enjoy herself — we didn’t expect how much she would learn in such a short time.
The days were beautifully structured, with a balance of hands-on horse care, riding, and learning how horses think and communicate. It wasn’t overwhelming or rushed, and the children were encouraged to ask questions and really engage with the horses at their own pace. Our daughter came away with a much deeper respect for the animals and a clearer understanding of how to work with them safely and calmly.
Hanna and Leo created an atmosphere of trust and encouragement, where each child felt seen and supported. As a parent, it was reassuring to know that safety and horsemanship were always the priority, while still allowing the children to build independence and confidence.
By the end of the program, our daughter was more confident, more thoughtful around horses, and incredibly proud of what she had achieved. It was a genuinely positive experience, and one we would happily recommend to families looking for more than just a riding lesson.”
